Foodies have so much to look forward to at this year’s Florida State Fair that runs through May 2. From peanut butter and jelly tots to gelato nachos and deep-fried molten lava cake to a pickle pizza. Wow that was a mouthful, but let’s dive right into our top 5 favorite eats!
New from Angela's Pizza - A white garlic sauce base, topped with mozzarella cheese and dill pickles. Garnished with ranch and dill seasoning after it comes out of the oven.
DeAnna's Steak Sundaes had our mouth watering with its Buffalo chicken sundae, the perfect amount of heat! Fresh cut fries drizzled with ranch, southwest sauce, spicy gardinera relish, topped with fresh battered chicken tenders!
Loaded Tater Burger
Next up, the Loaded tater burger from Carousel Foods, a hamburger with shredded toasted cheese, cottage fries and bacon, finished with ranch dressing and chives.
Deep Fried Molten Lava Cake
Move over deep fried oreos, there’s a new kid in town and it’s stealing the show. Deep fried Molten lava cake <3
I mean did you even go to the fair if you didn’t get a classic glazed donut from Peachey’s. A Sarasota favorite for sure!!
