From charcuterie boards to half pound cookies, these small local business owners are delivering tasty treats right to your front door! What I love the most about our community is that there are so many eclectic entrepreneurs chasing their dreams by doing what they love right in our backyard. We’ve curated a list of five local businesses that are getting creative during this COVID-19 time and personally delivering their unique goodies to you.

Charcuterie and Cheese

Shannon is a Sarasota-based foodie, and total charcuterie & cheeseboard aficionado. Her passion project started out by making cheeseboards for her friends & family and then it turned into the entire town wanting one! When I stumbled upon her Instagram, I was instantly sold! I mean who doesn’t love wine and cheese? Shannon offers grazing boards to satisfy any pallet and totally customizable. You can choose from small, medium or party box ranging from $45 to $120 and they come with various cheeses, charcuterie (vegan and vegetarian options available) as well as assorted accoutrements ranging from fresh/dried fruit, crudités, jam, honey, nuts, olives, pickles, candy, seasonal treats and crackers. Trust me they are definitely Insta-worthy!

The Sandwitch Shoppe

Locals, Zach and Cody combined their passion for handcrafted jewelry and baked goods by recently launching their online boutique, The Sandwitch Shoppe. This duo is the perfect mix of magic as they are partners in life and in business! They offer unique jewelry, modern eclectic fashion, and delicious treats that bring out your inner magic. We received a box of their favorite cookies called, The Cookie Collection. In this box you get a total of 16 cookies (4 of each flavor) chocolate chip, peanut butter, black strap molasses, and sugar cookies for $18. Delivery is available in Sarasota and Arcadia.

Simply Coffee

Longtime stay at home mom turned cold brew guru, Rebekah Flaming is the owner of Simply Coffee and is sharing her love for the delicious drink by becoming a modern-day milkman (or more like coffee Wonder Woman) delivering her special brew to her customers. 15 HOURS… that’s how long she brews her coffee for! Using the finest beans from Ethiopia and taking her time with the brewing process, Rebekah has perfected her recipe to provide a smooth to drink, strong brew that holds up to ice. You can choose from a monthly subscription (starting at $45) that delivers cold brew to you every week or place a one-time order (starting at $20). Sizes range from 64oz or 32 oz and she will swap out the growler at each delivery.

This boss babe has also donated her time and over 40 gallons of cold brew to our local hospitals and medical centers fueling our frontline warriors! Cheers to you Rebekah <3

Yes, you heard that right, HALF POUND cookies! These monstroserous, ooey gooey cookies are baked fresh before every delivery. You can choose from classic chocolate chip, s’more, cookies & cream or sprinkle sugar cookie at $4.50 each or $25 for a half dozen.
